This tour of two days and one night takes you to visit three wonderful places; Huacachina, Paracas and Nazca.

Attractions to visit during the tour:

Huacachina

This site, located a few hours away from Lima, is an oasis in the middle of the desert, declared a Regional Conservation Area. This place is characterized by its green lagoon, its palm trees and the enormous dunes that surround it, where it is common to practice adventure sports such as buggies ride and sandboarding. Also, it is an ideal place to take a walk while enjoying beautiful views and visiting bars and souvenir shops.

Paracas

This coastal city is located 261 kilometers away from Lima and for many people, it is considered one of the best destinations in Peru, mostly thanks to its spectacular landscapes. Among its various activities, one of the most attractive for tourists is sailing to the Ballestas Islands to observe its wide diversity of marine fauna, preserved in the Paracas National Reserve. In addition, it is an ideal place to enjoy the typical local gastronomy, based on excellent quality fish and shellfish.

Nazca

It is a very visited city due to its greatest attraction; The Nazca Lines, a point of interest that we will visit during this tour and one of the greatest enigmas of Peru. The ‘Nazca Lines’ are a set of geoglyphs designed on the desert that represent figures of animals and plants, measuring up to 300 meters in length and occupying an area of up to 1000 m². Due to these dimensions, in order to admire this marvel properly, it is necessary to fly over the figures. It should be noted that this set of geoglyphs is not only a tourist attraction in the region, this was also declared by Unesco as Historical and Cultural Heritage. Undoubtedly, one of the most interesting tourist spots that Peru has to offer.

Huacachina, Paracas and Nazca await you to live two days full of new adventures and get to know incredible and unique places that are truly a pleasure to look at!

Huacachina + Paracas + Nazca 2D/1N Tour Itinerary (Group service):

Day 1:

4:00 a.m. Departure to Paracas – Arrival at the Ballestas Islands

We will depart very early from your hotel in the districts of Miraflores or San Isidro. If you are staying in other districts, we will indicate a nearby meeting point.

During the approximately 4-hour trip, we will make a stop at a traditional roadside café to enjoy coffee and the famous wood-fired stuffed breads, prepared on the spot in artisanal ovens.

Finally, we will arrive at the port of Paracas, El Chaco, where we will board the shared boat headed to the Ballestas Islands. On the way, we will observe the Candelabro, a mysterious geoglyph measuring 180 m in length and 1.2 m in depth, visible only from the sea or the air.

Upon arriving at the Ballestas Islands, we will witness their incredible rock formations and marine wildlife: guano birds, Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and, with some luck, even dolphins.

This tour is conducted entirely from the boat, giving you the opportunity to observe the animals in their natural habitat. It is common to spot various species, although their presence depends on natural factors of the environment.

After the boat ride, we will taste the famous chocotejas, a typical regional sweet made with pecans and caramel, and you will have a few minutes of free time to explore the Paracas bay.

In the exceptional case that the tide is high and sailing is not possible for safety reasons, we will visit the Paracas Natural Reserve, an area of 335,000 hectares known for its unique landscapes and its history as an ancient marine zone.

Transport – Lunch in the City of Ica – Pisco Tasting

We will continue our journey toward the City of Ica, where we will enjoy a typical regional lunch included in the tour. The Ica region is known for its traditional creole dishes; we will present four typical options for you to choose from, accompanied by an appetizer.

After lunch, it will be time to taste the famous Peruvian Pisco. We will sample wines, piscos, pisco creams and mistelas, all handcrafted and locally produced, accompanied by fun phrases typical of the region. Depending on the group’s dynamics, lunch may take place before or after the visit to Huacachina.

Transport – Visit to Huacachina

We will head toward the Huacachina oasis, a paradise in the middle of the Ica desert.

Here begins the adventure with an exciting shared high-speed buggy ride through the dunes, a thrilling experience full of adrenaline. We recommend that this activity not be performed by elderly people, pregnant women or individuals with heart conditions, as the ride involves sudden and demanding movements typical of off-road driving.

You will also be able to practice sandboarding. The activity includes a special board to slide down the dunes, either sitting or lying down. If you prefer to practice sandboarding standing up, you can choose our tour with private transportation and add this activity as an extra.

After a day full of adventures, it will be time to rest at your hotel in Huacachina.
It is important to consider that vehicle access in Huacachina is limited. Therefore, the shared transport will drop you off at a nearby access point, from where you can walk to your hotel.

Day 2:

Private transfer Huacachina – Nazca
