Palomino Island and swimming with sea lions Tour Itinerary:

9:45 – 10:30 Meeting point and boat

The adventure starts at 10:00 am from the meeting point (Callao) where the group will receive instructions and prepare for port control and subsequent boarding at the dock, around 10:30.

10:30 Start of the tour to the islands

Once on the boat, you will leave for the islands that surround the province of Callao: San Lorenzo, El Frontón (old prison), El Camotal and Isla Cavinzas, which is known for its guanera wealth (fertilizer or mineral formed by excrement of birds).

In the place you can see the diversity of birds and marine animals, such as seagulls, boobies, guanayes, and pelicans among the rock formations.

11:30 Swim with Sea lions

After arriving at Palomino Island, you will have the opportunity to swim with sea lions in their natural habitat, for approximately half an hour. You can also choose a few minutes of relaxation on the boat while you admire the landscape and marine fauna.

12:30 Return

After experiencing contact with nature; You return to the dock, arriving around 1:00 p.m. You can have lunch at La Punta, which has excellent restaurant alternatives, representative of the best typical dishes of Peruvian food.

The price of the Palomino Island Tour includes:

• Transportation to the meeting point and return. It can be arranged for an additional cost.

What to Bring Palomino Island Tour?

• Caps or hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, bathing suits, towel.
• Extra clothing.
• Passport or DNI.
• Travel insurance.
• Devices for audiovisual recording (cell phone, camera, video cameras)
• Cash (local currency)

Departure and return location:

• Chucuito, Callao. It is located 45 minutes from the Miraflores area. We can offer a transfer service, or you can go on your own using a safe taxi app such as Cabify or Uber.

What considerations should you have when doing the Palomino Island Tour?

• The boats leave on time, passengers are requested to take precautions to arrive on time, otherwise, refunds will not be applied.
• Remember that, since these are outdoor activities, the natural features of the landscape may vary depending on weather conditions and the natural daylight. Each visit is an authentic experience, where nature reveals itself in unique and unrepeatable ways.

According to Peruvian regulations, foreign tourists may be exempt from the local tax IGV (VAT). As a formal and registered travel agency, we are required to submit to the local authorities a copy of the document you used to enter the country, as well as your date of entry. For this reason, a few days before your arrival, we will contact you to request a photo of that document and ask you to let us know the date you entered Peru. If we do not receive this information, we will be required to add the 18% corresponding to the IGV tax.

Force Majeure Policy

However, it may be affected by force majeure events such as weather conditions, rain, natural disasters, protests, roadblocks, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be provided, as these are unforeseeable and unavoidable situations. Nonetheless, we will do everything possible to offer efficient alternatives and solutions for your enjoyment. Any additional costs resulting from changes or alternative activities will be the responsibility of the client and not Guru Explorers.
